Salida Mountain Trails is an all volunteer organization committed to building and maintaining sustainable, non-motorized, multi-user trails on public lands adjoining the city of Salida.
High Valley Bike Shuttle
High Valley Bike Shuttle is your #1 source for bike rentals, shuttles and information on the Monarch Crest Trail and other mountain bike rides throughout Central Colorado. Three shuttles run daily at 8 and 10 AM. A 7 AM shuttle is available for groups over 5 on special request. For a nominal fee of $20.00, reserve a seat for you and your bike to be transported from Poncha Springs to Monarch Pass summit.

Monarch Mountain is one of Colorado’s best ski areas; cheap lift tickets, powder snow, family ski packages, learn to ski programs Monarch has it all. Steep terrain, black diamond runs, tree skiing, fresh powder snow and Cat Skiing attract expert and advanced skiers. Salida Golf Club is High Altitude Golfing at it’s best. The greens are small and fast, there is water on 8 of the 9 holes, and the usual pace is two hours for nine holes. The course is on a slope, but is easy to walk. Trees define each fairway but are not numerous enough to lose your ball in them

Captain Zipline: Suspend your fear as you zip along our cables, reaching speeds up to 40 mph, and soar over the canyon floor some 100-200 feet below!
